FROM WEBSITE

Paul Lambert, a resident of Shelby County, Alabama, is the oldest son of Phillip and the late Opal Lambert of Birmingham. He has been happily married to his high school sweetheart, the former Tracy Sanders, for almost twenty years. Paul and Tracy are the parents of ten children.

Lambert is NOT a career politician. In fact, this is his first run for any public office.

Serving others has always come naturally to Lambert. Now he stresses the value of serving others to his children. In the past, he has taught adult Sunday school, taught vacation Bible school, created and administered mid-week children’s ministries programs, rang bells and collected food for the Salvation Army and has served as an interim pastor.

Lambert was involved in the Boy Scouts of America for a number of years and held leadership positions including Cub Master, Assistant Cub Master, Tiger Cub Coach, and Wolf Leader. He also served as the Shelby District Popcorn Chairman and served on the Shelby District Round Table staff, teaching other adult scouting volunteers how to make their programs more fun and effective. He is especially proud to have been honored with the Shelby District Award of Merit in 2002.

Lambert has worked in the television industry for over twenty years as an engineer, editor, producer, director and writer. He has worked as talent in several local and regional commercials, created & hosted a children’s television show and appeared in a feature that was shot right here in Alabama.

Through the years, Lambert has demonstrated an unbridled passion for government and law. Like so many others, he has been discouraged by the decisions many of our lawmakers have made. These decisions that have only served to compound existing problems instead of solving them. Lambert now feels it is time for him to join the ranks of those citizen-patriots who are now stepping forward to return our government to the foundational principles given to us by our founding fathers. He believes that this cause is not only just, but necessary. He hopes that taking this stand for liberty will inspire others to do the same.

When asked to describe himself, Paul says simply, “I am a Husband, father, friend and lover of liberty.”

FROM WEBSITE

Hi, my name is Jaynee Germond and I am running for US Congress, OR District 4 because I cannot continue to sit by idly, watching our economy and our rights spiraling downward. Our representatives in Congress are not helping; rather they are the ones causing the deterioration of the economy and the destruction of our constitutionally protected rights.

We the People, are struggling to make ends meet with the money that our government allows us to keep, while our paid officials- our hired employees- are squandering our hard-earned money.

Our country has been consumed by party politics, and we need to get beyond the 2-party system, which has blurred so much that it is now unrecognizable, and look at being Americans. The Jaynee’s Top 102-party system has gotten us where we are today, with the ‘good of the party’ taking a back seat only to “what will get me elected next time”.

I want to bring back a Congress that wants what is best for America first and foremost. Term limits would help that to become a reality. “We the People” need to understand that we already have term limits and they are called elections. When our officials come up for re-election and they are long-term, career politicians who are not following their job desciptions (Article 1, Section we need to vote them out.

I belong to the Republican Party. Although, some may consider me Conservative, I am actually a Constitutionalist. This means that even though I have personal beliefs about some issues, the Constitution is specific about how and by whom those issues should be handled.

When I take the oath of office , I will swear “that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”

An oath is not to be taken lightly and I stand by that. Though a Christian, I am not running as a Christian, but as an American. A Christian’s guidebook is the Bible; an American’s guidebook is the Constitution.

I was:

    * a single parent for 10 years
* in healthcare for 25 years
* a teacher for 3 years (1 in a government schools, 2 in private school) plus homeschooled our youngest daughter for 11 years
* widowed
* remarried to a disabled Viet Nam vet
* a small business owner

In other words….I am you.

Remember me,

Jaynee Germond for US Congress, OR CD4

~not a politician, a representative.

Independent Jake Towne running on a constitutional platform in the 15th District of PA
DEFENDING LIBERTY AND THE RULE OF LAW

FROM WEBSITE

http://www.towneforcongress.com

Life began for me 30 years ago at St. Luke’s Hospital. My parents raised me in Nazareth, and I grew up with my three younger sisters and younger brother. During my youth, I loved reading and played team sports year-round. I attended Nazareth Area High School and graduated third in my class. In high school, I played township baseball, football for a couple years, ran cross-country and was a co-captain of the track and field team. I was also on the chess team and the locally-televised Scholastic Scrimmage teams. Then U.S. Congressman Paul McHale also awarded me a Citizenship Award.

While I was growing up, my mother was a homemaker and a schoolteacher and now teaches adult education at a local university. My father works in a machine shop at a local university. My ethic to work hard and deep sense of responsibility came from watching my parents work so hard and sacrifice so much to put food on the table and obtain a chance for us children at a good education. I attended Lehigh University with a full scholarship and graduated with honors, earning a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. My education also included a summer at Dortmund University in Germany as an exchange student, and a Martindale scholarship, where I traveled to Hong Kong and wrote a paper on their political system since the British handover to the Chinese.

Since my graduation from college, I worked as a process engineer for Ablestik Laboratories in the semiconductor industry, first in California, then close to four years in Shanghai, China. Most of my work was very hands-on, I spent countless hours scaling up or troubleshooting products with technicians in the labs and with operators on the manufacturing floor. I was also fortunate to spend time with customers, and the main purpose of my job was improving our products and factories for them.

While abroad in China, I experienced how hard life can really be without the liberties that we Americans often take for granted. I began taking a closer look at the news from America and also what my friends were telling me. Slowly, I began to recognize that civil liberties were being infringed upon by the government, and economic liberties were under attack, especially the silent theft of purchasing power from the dollar.

Instead of the one breadwinner household like back in the 1950s and 1960s, why do we now need two incomes to raise a family? Why is health care so expensive? Why are so many jobs fleeing our country for the cheap labor of poor third world countries like China? Why didn’t the banks have enough money – didn’t they have all the money? How did this economic depression start? Who is responsible? I was shocked to discover that our federal government and the Federal Reserve, our central bank, own most of the blame. I have uncovered enough of the lies that I discovered the truth:

All around my beloved home, peace, freedom, prosperity, and love are under siege.

Their polar opposites – war, slavery, poverty, and hate – are on the march, harshly trampling over our liberties.

All hope for change lies in a rEVOLution fought not with bullets, but with our minds.

Why were we content to sacrifice our liberties through the USA PATRIOT Act among many other acts of Congress? Why are we steadily spreading war and civil strife to Afghanistan, then to Iraq, and now Pakistan? Do we even have a clue when we will “win”? I will be honest with you and say I had accepted the premise that the War on Terror was necessary for about five years. I then realized those who attacked us did not do so because they were jealous of our liberties or our prosperity, they did it because our armies were already over there, occupying their countries. The words of Pennsylvanian Ben Franklin ring harsh and true:

“They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security.”

I love meeting new people and seeing new places, and have traveled quite a bit in Asia and Europe. The pleasures of backpacking in Nepal, spending time with tribal villagers on the rain-forested Chinese-Burmese border, and hiking all over New Zealand have changed how I view the world. So has the experience of living in the polluted smog of Shanghai, meeting innocents whose legs were blown off by American-built mines in Cambodia, and living among some of the millions of peasant farmer families in rural China. I’ve discovered that people everywhere are much the same – they want their children to do well and advance in the world, they care deeply about their culture and standard of living, and are generally good-hearted. I believe these experiences have made me a more well-rounded person, able to shift my perspective and listen and see life from the viewpoint of others.

I loved growing up in a big family and look forward to meeting the right person and starting a family of my own one day. That said, I am in no rush and have chosen to devote my full attention to spreading my message. In March of 2009, I returned home to pursue this campaign full-time. On May 1, I declared my candidacy for my home district’s seat for the election on November 2, 2010. As you can see below, this campaign will not be ‘politics as usual.’

    * I am running as a private citizen, not with either major party – As I am highly critical of how both Republican and Democratic politicians have behaved over the past decade, I cannot associate myself as a candidate with either party. I will be running as an independent private citizen under no political party. What I offer to the citizens of the 15th district is a true independent ear and voice. Whatever your age, gender, political party, or beliefs, we are all citizens and a better country for ourselves and our children’s children is in our best interests. As I once learned, the very terms “conservative” and “liberal” are just forms of verbal warfare meant to divide us.
* I will focus on spreading my message, winning votes, and both educating residents as well as being educated BY them – The most important task is meeting people, and listening to their thoughts. The intent of my campaign is to become a Congressman who listens to ideas from both you and everyone to create the best solutions to our economic, social, political, and environmental problems. When elected, I will create an “Open Office” – an on-line forum where anyone can share his or her opinions with me, and makes me accountable to you. This website will serve as a demonstration to prove this Open Office idea is more than possible – it’s already being done and your voice matters to me.
* Not a Career Politician – After I am elected, I would listen to your comments on my performance before running again. I harbor no intentions of becoming a “career politician.” My aim is to serve as a temporary statesman and bring the voice of the people to government with a lot of energy. I am mindful of the sad truth behind “Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” As collateral for this assurance, if elected, I promise I will not enlist in the Congressional pension plan, which guarantees members up to 80% of their salary in annual pension. I believe this is fiscally irresponsible and too lucrative. The current salary paid by you, the taxpayer, for a seat in Congress is $174,000, which is well over three times our area’s median household income. Obviously I would act to reduce this – how can you believe Congress will tighten the purse-strings on wasteful government spending if Congress fails to start with itself?

I hope to meet you personally as I campaign. I humbly hope that you will find me worthy of your vote, and your vote is cast as an informed decision for the best candidate. I will do my very best to serve you, the people of the Lehigh Valley, the Fighting Fifteenth.

For the Republic!

Adam Kokesh for Congress 4th Dist. New Mexico 2010

FROM WEBSITE

While Adam was attending the Native American Preparatory School in San Ysidro, New Mexico, one of his mentors was a former Marine Captain who inspired him to enlist in the United States Marine Corps at the age of seventeen. After graduation, he went to boot camp, an experience he has described as “an enjoyable challenge.” He completed Marine Combat Training at Camp Pendleton, the Cannon Crewman Course at Fort Sill, then reported to his reserve unit in Pico Rivera, California in order to attend Claremont McKenna College.

While majoring in Psychology and Government at CMC, Adam volunteered to go to Iraq in December of 2003. As a principled non-interventionist, he didn’t think the war was going to be worth the cost or in America’s best interest, but believed that after the invasion, rebuilding constituted a “responsible foreign policy.” After an arduous application process, Corporal Kokesh was accepted for transfer to the 3rd Civil Affairs Group. When he left for Iraq in February of 2004, he was enthusiastic about the mission, and believed that he would be risking his life to help the Iraqi people and make America safer.

During his service in Fallujah, Adam was promoted to Sergeant and awarded a Combat Action Ribbon and Navy Commendation Medal. But his frustration with getting the resources necessary for the Civil Affairs mission led him to question the premises of the occupation. After coming home and successfully dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Adam took some time to gain perspective on his experience. He realized that, “the greatest enemies of the Constitution to which I swore an oath to support and defend, are not to be found in the sands of some far off land, but rather occupying the seats of power, right here at home!”

After receiving an honorable discharge in November of 2006, Adam moved to Washington, DC to pursue a master’s degree in Political Management at George Washington University. Since then, he has taken it upon himself as an activist to continue to honor his oath to the Constitution and the principles of liberty behind it.

Adam is personally committed to using his life to make the world a better place. By speaking out, he is pulling people out of their bubbles where, “they don’t consider things that don’t immediately effect their quality of life or the moral implications of their actions.” Driven by a deep intolerance for injustice, Adam has also done extensive work to alleviate, minimize, and prevent the human suffering that inevitably arises from forceful government intervention.

In addition to addressing the kind of suffering he experienced first-hand in Fallujah, he has organized to help veterans struggling with PTSD, railed against 4th Amendment violations, and stood up against the Federal Reserve. He never loses sight of the long-term goal of inspiring a new commitment to the ideals of liberty so that we may embrace a truly free society in which the aggressive use of force is not tolerated, and the blessings of liberty are shared by all.

Mike Vasovski for Congress 4th District South Carolina 2010

FROM WEBSITE

Biography of Dr. F. Michael Vasovski

Dr. Mike Vasovski has begun an additional career. On December 2nd, 2008 the Federal Election Commission received from him the forms that are required by law to state publicly that he is a candidate for the United States Congress where he hopes to represent the people of South Carolina’s 3rd Congressional District.

Upon graduating from Texas A&M University in 1976 and The University of North Texas’s College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1981, Vasovski served in the United States Army’s Medical Corp until 1987 achieving the rank of Captain. He entered the military voluntarily and without first receiving a health scholarship. His duties included service at the Wiesbaden Air Force hospital from 1982 to 1984 where he was privileged to assist in the surgical care of U.S. Marines who were injured in the terrorist bombings of their barracks in Beirut in October of 1983.

Military service was something that Dr. Vasovski grew up with. His father was a 26 year veteran of the United States Air Force with service in the Korean War and Vietnam. Military family life does not permit a family to stay long enough in one place to lay down permanent roots. Therefore when asked “where are you from”, his answer would have to be, “all over.” Born in Pres Quile, Maine, he has lived in 6 states, and up until 1981, called Texas home. He may not have been born in South Carolina, but as the phrase goes, “he got here as soon as he could”.

Upon receiving an Honorable Discharge from the Army, Dr. Vasovski entered private general medical practice in Aiken, South Carolina in 1988 and has continued to this day serving the people of Aiken and the surrounding counties. As a solo practitioner, he is also a small business owner and knows full well the burdens placed on them, not the least of which is the current tax system. Being the only physician in his practice has precluded him seeking elected public office and service until such time that family life would permit. That time has come.

Personal responsibility is a conservative value that Dr. Vasovski believes in strongly. This he has seen daily in clinical practice in a health care system that Vasovski has described as “wonderful, not perfect, but truly wonderful”. The fact has been quoted often, that in spite of spending more than any other country on health care; the United States does not lead in statistics like life expectancy and infant mortality. This is due, at least in part, to the individual freedoms Americans enjoy and those include lifestyle choices that may not be the best for one’s health, like smoking or drinking alcohol during pregnancy.

Vasovski’s desire to seek a high public office is grounded also in other conservative values like the defense of our civil liberties granted in the Constitution that have recently come under attack. During college he was a member of the skeet shooting team at Texas A&M and he believes that Americans should continue to enjoy and benefit from our right to keep and bear arms for whatever legal purpose they desire, according to the Second Amendment.

Being active in the community has always been part of Vasovski’s life and he was one of the original founders of the Free Medical Clinic of Aiken. He and Cindy, his wife of 31 years, continue to volunteer there where needy people can partake of health care that is provided free of charges for professional services and generated by and from the voluntary efforts of a large staff of caring, generous and compassionate citizens of Aiken. Dr. Vasovski also volunteered time to function as the Aiken County School District consulting physician for several years. He firmly believes that we are a nation of kind, generous and loving people, who deserve to be represented by leaders who will govern by the principles of honest friendship to other countries, free trade, no entangling alliances and war only when declared by Congress.

Democratic United States House of Representatives Representative Tauscher announced that she had accepted the position of Undersecretary of State for Arms Control and International Security. She was confirmed by the United States Senate on June 25 and resigned her seat in the House the following day, necessitating a special election to fill her vacancy.

FROM WEBSITE

About Gary

I was born in California and then spent most of my childhood in third world countries including Cuba, Chile, Ecuador, Guyana, and Jamaica. In these countries, I experienced firsthand the consequences of failed economies and the dysfunctional political systems which created them. Corruption, nepotism and political cronyism were the norm. As a dependent of a US Foreign Service Officer, I observed the ethos of a devoted public servant who taught me that the right thing to do was not always the easiest thing to do. At a young age, I represented the US in foreign countries and would volunteer in various aspects to promote US interests.

After graduating from high school, I returned to the US and graduated from UC Davis in 1980. Soon after, my wife and I settled in Solano County to raise our daughter and son where five generations of my family have resided. Like previous generations before me, I maintain a small farm where I grow organic produce for my family and friends.

I spent 26 years working in Law Enforcement for the State of California where I passionately served as a crime victim advocate battling the giant state bureaucracy that penalizes victims and rewards the criminals. Frustrated by the increased acceleration of government inefficiency, waste, and growth from a political bubble making California state government dysfunctional, I retired in 2006.

I ran for state office twice in the 1990’s. Following these two campaigns, I have been asked by hundreds of supporters to run again. When the CA Congressional District 10 became vacant I could not pass on the opportunity. California voters are disappointed in their government leaders and they should be. District 10 voters have a rare opportunity to make their voices heard and elect a representative who is a true public servant.

The financial future of our country is at risk if the Federal Government follows California’s lead. Federal government has grown too big and expenditures greatly exceed tax revenues. This cannot continue. We need to reduce federal government by cutting the waste and mis-management. One of my first actions in Congress will be to cosponsor HR 1207 which aims to audit the Federal Reserve and make government transparent with our tax dollars. This is a priority among my many issues.

I cannot win this election without the monetary support of liberty voters such as yourself. I cannot win this election without the momentum you can create by spreading my campaign. I cannot win this election without you.

Former military veteran RJ Harris 2010 Run for Congress.

RJ Harris Biography

RJ Harris 2010 – In Fallujah 2003
First and foremost, I am the husband to Jennifer R. (Friend) Harris. She is my wife of eighteen years and the mother of our five children: Mercedes Elaine 14, Georgia Michelle, 8, Wyatt Marshall 3, Peyton Optimus 1, and Braxton Magnus 1. In addition to being a Mother of five, Jennifer is an accomplished professional in her own right having earned her Bachelor’s of Accounting from Arizona State University in 1998.

I have served our country on three deployments: one for a peacekeeping mission in Korea and two for the Iraq war. Both of the war deployments were with the Army National Guard. Additionally, I have used my military Air Traffic Control Training to work for the Federal Aviation Administration. Desiring at one point to try my hand in business, I founded a small chain of games/toy stores, which unfortunately did not survive the economic downturn of 2001. In 2006, I decided to return to college to make a civilian career change from aviation to law; although, I do continue my aviation career in the Oklahoma Army National Guard as an Air Traffic Control Platoon Leader for two Platoons in the 1-245th Aviation Regiment. I completed the undergraduate portion of my education in Philosophy this past May at the University of Oklahoma. Currently, I am a First Year Law Student at the University of Oklahoma College of Law.

The primary mission of this campaign is to elect a Constitutional Conservative to represent the people of the 4th Oklahoma Congressional District. Execution of this mission includes an educational effort to make Oklahomans aware of the liberties that are being robbed from them by a central government, which has been operating outside the strictures of the Constitution for far too long. The Republican Party promised to fight to reduce, restrict, and restrain the size and scope of government and I am running to make good on that promise for the people of the Fourth District. Nearly as important, I intend to carry a message to Washington, from the people of Oklahoma, which puts the US Congress on notice that the days of their infringement into our States Rights and Sovereignty are coming to an end.
